Our Havant has been designed and developed using a Dual motor Trendelenburg mechanism to allow the user to recline the chair into a sleeping position. With a reclining back of 85 degrees, the user can achieve a lay flat position. Other mechanism are available. On a Tilt-In- Space action the drop arm facility will sit 50mm above the seat plateau, as this will ensure enclosure of the scissor action that can become exposed due to the nature of a Tilt-In-Space action.
